About Us

Hi, we are John and Cris Anne. We eat and tell. We do our cooking endeavors in the comfort of our very own kitchen. Rice and Dine is our attempt to share with the world our little knowledge in cooking, our large appetite in experimenting and all our funny misfortunes and bloopers in trying to do so.

We do not have any formal education in cooking, except for our parents and friends who shared and continuously share (thanks!) their recipes to us and our usually-bold undertake to recreate those delectable meals that we chanced upon dining out. We aim to give this to our readers, too. We hope that they will be confident in their own kitchens and have fun in the beautiful process that is cooking (and eating, of course!).

If you need to get in touch with us, we are based in Quezon City, Philippines and you can easily contact us via our email: ricendine@gmail.com

  1. Hi, thanks for visiting and leaving a lovely comment at my blog post ^.^
I too do not have any formal education in cooking, mostly are pass down recipes from families and some are recreations accordingly to the kiddos taste preference. However, just like to play around in the kitchen!

Salmon cakes looks interesting and like to try that out sometime! thanks for sharing!

  2. My boyfriend and I had a similar blog! Although, we’ve ended it a long time ago. We are passionate about food and documenting it, but the recipe part, we tended to just try a little bit of this sauce and that spice and rarely get real calculations (although, I’m making an effort to record accurate data in case others want to try it) haha I am so happy we are connected now! I can get more inspired with cooking and hopefully try some recipes you’ve posted! Your food photographs make me so hungry!!

    1. We also just guess about sauces and spices and if something is wrong, we try to avoid it the next time until we come up with something more shareable. We are also happy to have found and followed your blog! Thank you so much for stopping by. It really is very much appreciated! 🙂
